Copying, Pasting & Linking

When copying and pasting data into other applications, the WYSIWYG principle applies:  the values that will be pasted will be those appearing on your screen.  If you wish to use the actual figure, please select “Unit” in the Data Settings window.  e.g. if your WorkSheet displays 38.545 (millions), the value that will be copied will be 38.545, NOT 38,545,000.

However, if the Company/Stock Hide or the Filter feature is activated, all "hidden" companies and stocks will be copied to the the application.  See Hide/Unhide.

To paste a DDE link, use the standard Copy function (Ctrl+C), then use the <Paste Special> function that will open the following dialogue box.  Select <Paste link> and <Unicode Text>.

Any changes made to the Finasia sheet will be reflected in the other Workbook.  To refresh the data manually, select <Edit> from the Menu Bar, and <Links>, which will open the Links dialogue box.
